The “Young Professional Development Program (YPDP)” is a career-driven nongovernmental organization tailored toward empowering young and enterprising emerging leaders in Liberia and Africa. The organization was established on October 1, 2018, by a team of young visionary leaders from Liberia, Ghana, and Nigeria, predicated upon recognizing the human capacity development gap amongst youth in the sub-region. This is considered major challenge countries on the African continent are faced with in achieving major development priorities. Our program is aimed at connecting the development and empowering African youths especially women and girls in Liberia and their counterparts from neighboring countries on whom the future of Africa depends on ethical leadership, governance, entrepreneurship, and technology.
